New Lancaster General Store

Middle Creek Winery's tasting room at the historic New Lancaster General Store is an exciting trip back in time! Have fun enjoying award winning wine, famous slushies, and shopping everything local—art, antiques and fun gifts! Picnics are welcome—sit on the old porch or in the picnic areas outside, or play croquet in the park. Walk through our newest vineyard just across the road!


The old creamery room seats 26 inside—perfect for your event! Come tour living history!


This landmark is rich in history. It has been the meeting place of the Kansas Anti Horse Thief Association. It's also been a post office, creamery, telephone office, gathering place for the community and a place for farmers to bring in their produce and eggs.


The New Lancaster General Store is on the National Register of Historic Places. The old Store now proudly offers Middle Creek Winery artisan wines, locally grown and crafted, and is also a tour stop for the Miami County Trolley. Tours, groups and special events are welcome!
