Raytown Historical Society and Museum

Raytown, Missouri, was the first stop out of Independence, Missouri, along the Santa Fe, Oregon, and California National Historic Trails. This museum is dedicated to preserving trail history.

The museum offers an extensive research center with history of Raytown families, businesses, churches, and government. The collection includes artifacts, documents, and photos that preserve local history. The public is invited to visit the research center, and Raytown area families are invited to share their history.
