St. Joseph Visitors Center

Some things you just can't learn from a history book -- like seeing where the Pony Express began & Jesse James ended. The city is home to 13 distinctive area museums, 15 annual festivals, and amazing architecture listed in the National Register of Historic Places. You'll also find great outdoor recreation throughout 48 parks, 26 miles of beautiful Parkway, outdoor concerts and an arts culture unlike any other. The St. Joseph Visitors Center is located inside the East Hills Library building at 502 N Woodbine. It is handicap accessible, has public restrooms, visitors information and a gift shop. The center showcases the history and attractions in St. Joseph through hand-drawn wall murals and several statues. The Visitors Bureau is located at 911 Frederick and is handicap accessible, has public restrooms, small gift shop, community room, visitors information and is within walking distance to historic downtown St. Joseph.
